Demonstrated at Decatur Farmers Market on September 14, 2016
Ingredients
- 1 pint of cherry tomatoes from Mountain Earth Farms
- 8 large red okra from Mealor Family Gardens
- 5 medium sweet peppers from Mountain Earth Farms
- 1/2 container of Nuts for Pate’s Original walnut cumin pate (about 1/4 cup)
- Salt
- Juice of one to two limes
Directions
- Slice cherry tomatoes in half and place in large bowl
- Chop okra and peppers to desired size and add to bowl
- Add nut pate into bowl and mix
- Salt to taste.
- Add lime juice to taste
- Serve alone, on top of grains, over pasta, in a sandwich or wrap, or as a salsa/dip
