Herb Peach French Toast

Demonstrated at Grant Park Farmers Market on July 9, 2017



  • 1 loaf bread sliced – TGM Multi Grain Bread
  • 4 Eggs – Rag & Frass Farm
  • 6 Peaches – Pearson Farm
  • 1 sprig lemon balm chopped – Mena’s Farm
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract – Jardi Chocolates
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup 2 tbsp honey – Bee Wild, Devil’s Advocate Honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 lemon – juiced
  • 1 pat – Banner Butter plain

  1. Prepare peach topping: Remove pits and chop peaches. Toss with lemon juice, honey, lemon balm. Set aside
  2. Prepare French toast batter: In separate bowl, whisk eggs with vanilla, agave, almond milk. Dip each side of bread slices in egg batter and place in medium heat, buttered skillet. Cook until gently browned on each side and remove from skillet.
  3. Top with peach mixture and serve
