Farm Fondo

Originating in Italy, fondo, short for “gran fondo”, is a long-distance, mass-participation cycling event.

Join us for a day of community, movement, farms and fresh food! The event will feature a group bike ride to  Hartnett Farms ATL, a gorgeous and historical property located near the West End in the Bush Mountain neighborhood. Farmers Niamke and Tawndalaya will walk us through the visually breathtaking and historic green acres. Farmer Tawndalaya will host a Dyer’s Alchemy class, demonstrating proper natural dye techniques using plants from the farm. After the farm fun, you’ll head over to the chef’s area, where your tastebuds will be delighted by internationally-inspired, locally-aquired cuisine.

Red Clay Soirée

Community Farmers Markets invites you to our annual fundraising gala, the Red Clay Soirée. Georgia red clay is the ground that connects us all and is the foundation from which our farmers grow and nourish our community. The event will highlight the best of the local food movement with the top farmers, farm-to-table chefs, and mixologists of Atlanta.

The Red Clay Soirée blends high-class service with a touch of farm grit – the makings for the most unique night of the year!
