Outreach Spotlight: Pickled Radishes with DHA Seniors

With the seniors at the Decatur Housing Authority this week, we pickled radishes. We simmered the below ingredients into a brine and poured it over sliced radishes in a glass jar. Then, the radishes just sit for about 24 hours before they are ready to eat and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. A fun variation for root veggies this time of year!
