In March, we organized a farmers market Pop Up at Drew Charter Elementary in East Lake. Kids and parents alike were excited to see our big table full of greens, root veggies, eggs and other goods. We worked with Terranova Farm, Jody’s Farm, La Calavera Bakery and Banjo Coffee to increase our offerings after the success of our pop up last year.  We handed out flyers promoting the Opening Day of the EAV Farmers Market and told families about how these these products are healthier and more sustainable than your average, run of the mill groceries.
