Personal Shopping at the Farmers Market (suspended)

This program has been suspended due to the introduction of SHOPCFMATL.org. We encourage customers to shop online each week with the curbside pick up at your choice of farmers market location. (April 20th, 2020).

Dear Friends of Community Farmers Markets,

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, CFM has implemented numerous policies and programs to keep our markets and market shoppers safe and healthy. In addition to our at-market protocols, we would like to offer our customers a new Personal Shopping option.  This Sunday, simply meet us at our curbside “Personal Shopper” station with a list, budget, and form of payment. Our staff, already familiar with our vendors’ offerings, will shop the market for you.

How it works:

  1. Before Market Day – Please reach out to Casey at casey@cfmatl.org for a time reservation so we can keep the occupancy at the market as low as possible. Limited day-of walkups available as well.
  2. On Market Day
    1. Upon arriving at market, look for the “Personal Shopper” station sign located in front of Eventide Brewery. Your shopper will have washed hands and will be wearing gloves. Your shopper will maintain proper distance while collecting from you your shopping list, budget, method of payment, and telephone number for questions.
    2. Your shopper will use your shopping list to compile your order. They will use safe, sanitary practices while shopping for you. They will keep in touch with you via phone or text if an item you’ve requested is unavailable, or if they have questions while fulfilling your order.
    3. Your shopper will return with your groceries and will sanitize any cards/tokens used during your purchases.

This program is free for shoppers who are over the age of 60, have underlying health issues, and/or are EBT/SNAP recipients. For all other customers, we are suggesting a donation of $5 or more to our organization to cover the increased cost of this service.

We look forward to serving our community this weekend with the sustenance we need to keep us healthy through these times.

*Please be patient with us, as this is our first weekend of implementation.
