Our winter vegetable taste test include winter greens like arugula, spinach, and varieties of kale along with root veggies like carrots, radishes, and hakurei turnips. We diced and sliced them and combined them so they could be combined into individual salads. We also made a homemade salad dressing with olive oil and apple cider vinegar, along with lemon, salt, and pepper. While many of the veggies were spicy, they still got the taste test approval!
