Broccoli Rabe + Italian Sausage Ragout

Ingredients
  • Market:
    • “The Sauce” from Frik and Frak (free)
    • Totsoi from Scharko ($6.00)
    • Hot Italian sausage from Ernest Farms ($9.00)
    • Bread from TGM ($6.00)
    • Broccoli Rabe from Cosmos ($8.00)
    • Onion from Scharko ($6.00)
  • Pantry:
    • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

 Directions
  1.  Heat skillet over medium high heat, cook and break up the sausage.
  2. Add onion and sauté till translucent, then add chopped broccoli rabe and cook for 4-5 minutes till wilted and shiny.
  3. Add sauce and 1/2 cup water. Salt to taste.
  4. Throw in chopped totsoi and cook 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve on sliced baguette or over pasta.
