The market opens to pedestrians at 9:00 a.m 🌞 Early risers, please be courteous to your neighbors waiting in line before 9 a.m. Allow vendors to set up properly, and don’t hurt yourself running!

Oakhurst is back! 🥕🍄‍🟫 grab a breakfast crepe or shawarma for lunch and shop from local farms for the week.

We always accept and MATCH SNAP/EBT. All EBT/SNAP customers get a $5 produce token to shop with our Market Champion of the week.

This week's snowstorm put a halt in regular operations for many small businesses. Farmers markets food is harvested and made fresh - day before fresh - so many farmers and producers were not able to harvest and prepare on Friday, making our first winter market of 2025 a little smaller than usual. No produce this week (veggies are safely tucked away from the snow) but plenty of meats and proteins to sustain you in the cold.

We go to great lengths to stay open rain or shine; market staff, farmers, and vendors will start their days at 5am in this and any weather because that's what a self-sufficient food system needs. People need food, and producers need to sell their products in order to sustain a business year-round. That's why your support is crucial right now. Thank you for shopping local and for being a champion of our food system!

Weekend market update: Oakhurst will be closed on

Weekend market update: Oakhurst will be closed on Saturday ~ shop at the Grant Park Farmers Market on Sunday!

Closing a market for inclement weather is rare. However, given this week's sustained freeze and tomorrow's snowfall, a Friday harvest for weekend markets is nearly impossible. While most of us are bundling up, Georgia farmers are out in the field performing rigorous tasks to ensure the safety of the farm and the preservation of crops.

Unfortunately, this decision comes at a high cost. Winter is a season with very short margins, and every sale makes a significant difference for these small businesses.

Many won't be able to make it on Sunday, but please come support those who will be there!
