Demonstrated at the Decatur Farmers Market on Saturday, May 28, 2016
- Wax Beans and Purple Beans from Furrowed Earth Farm
- Rattlesnake Beans from Jody’s Farm
- Garlic from Jody’s Farm
- Melt butter in medium skillet. For one quart of beans, use 1/4 cup of butter.
- Cook garlic in butter until translucent.
- Add the juice of half a lemon.
- Add salt to taste.
- Cook beans until texture is to your taste. Some like their beans crunchy, some like them softer.
